Matthew Consky
Matt has spent the entirety of his career working as plaintiff-side personal injury lawyer, joining the firm in early 2023.
Called to the Ontario bar in 2004, Matt graduated with an LL.B. from Queen’s University in 2002 and an Honours B.A. in Political Science from Western University in 1999. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Board of Ontario, the Licensing Appeal Tribunal, the Canada Pension Plan Review Board (hearing and appellate levels), and the ODSP Review Board.
Matt prides himself on running a client-focused practice, providing practical, easy to understand, and thoughtful service, along with fierce advocacy, to ordinary people who find themselves hurt through no fault of their own. Over the course of his career, Matt has seen the motor vehicle, slip-and-fall, and insurance legislation change over time and understands its quirks and nuances, the knowledge of which he enjoys passing on to his clients.
Matt looks forward to serving his clients with pragmatism and integrity.
When not in the office, Matt may be found in his modern kitchen (Matt has formal culinary training courtesy of George Brown College), the yoga studio and gym, propping up a table at one of Toronto’s many jazz venues, or just sitting at home, watching bad 80’s movies with his wife, Marnie.
