As you are aware, the landlord/owners have notified those tenants staying at the hotels that as of November 30th funding for the hotels will no longer be provided.
As a result, we have brought an urgent motion asking the Court to compel the landlord/owners to continue to pay for the hotel accommodation, or to provide reasonable accommodation after November 30th. Our motion is focused only on those tenants living in the hotels who cannot find alternate reasonable accommodation. We do not yet have a hearing date but requested one before November 30th.
We are hoping that the landlord/owners will come up with a reasonable solution by Friday, November 23d.
