This proposed class action is brought on behalf of thousands of Canadians who bought or consumed contaminated No Name chicken nuggets and Unbranded chicken fries. These products were sold by Loblaw and No Frill stores.
On July 20 and 21, 2018, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued a recall for No Name Brand Chicken Nuggets (907g) with a best-before date of May 15, 2019 and Unbranded $10 Chicken Fries with a best-before date of March 23, 2019. The reason for the recall was Salmonella contamination.
