After the Northwest Territories (NWT) Court of Appeal agreed with the Plaintiffs in upholding the trial judgment, Bell Mobility sought leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada.
On July 16, 2015, the Supreme Court of Canada denied Bell Mobility’s leave to appeal with costs.
Now that Bell Mobility has fully, and unsuccessfully, exhausted the appeal process, the parties are into the damages phase of the action. We will be pushing the case ahead so that damages are either settled, or the issue will be tried before the NWT Supreme Court.
