Han v Li, 2014 ONSC 5287

In Han, the Plaintiffs wished to invest in a property. The Defendants, who facilitated the sale, asked the Plaintiff for a large deposit, took the deposit money to purchase the property and then flipped the property for an inflated final price to the Plaintiff.  Shawn Tock and Keith Landy, representing the Plaintiff, persuaded the court to uphold a default judgment against one of the Defendants and were awarded costs.
