Marriott International Hotels Class Action
This proposed class action stems from notices of a data breach received by approximately 500 million people who stayed at Marriott-affiliated hotels or were members of the Starwood Preferred Guest program.
The fact of the breach became public on November 30, 2018 but may have originated in 2014. Marriott alleges that they became aware of the breach on September 8, 2018.

This proposed class action is brought against Marriott International Inc. and Luxury Hotels International of Canada ULC for, amongst other things, breach of privacy, breach of contract and negligence.
