Laya Witty

Senior Lawyer

Laya has spent the entirety of her career advocating for plaintiffs in their claims against
insurance companies.

Laya graduated from Osgoode Hall School of Law in 2011 and was called to the Ontario
bar in 2012. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario
Divisional Court, the Financial Services Board of Ontario, the Licensing Appeal Tribunal,
and the ODSP Review Board.

Laya has always made it her priority to help her clients understand and navigate the
process of their litigation. Laya is a tireless and relentless advocate for her clients.
regardless of the size of the claim.

Laya enjoys working with her clients, understanding their stories and representing their
interests. When not in the office, Laya is an active volunteer in her community and a
frequent speaker on adult education and interfaith topics. She also loves to cook, bake,
and spend time with her family.
