Naseer Haidery is the current articling student at Landy Marr Kats LLP. Naseer recently graduated from both the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and Detroit Mercy School of Law. During law school, Naseer participated in the International Intellectual Property Clinic assisting clients with essential legal services for their inventions.

Nicole has a broad litigation practice, with a focus on civil and commercial litigation. Nicole’s areas of practice include employment terminations and wrongful dismissals, real-estate property disputes, mortgage enforcement, construction law, contractual disputes, and personal injury. Nicole completed her J.D. at the University of Ottawa and was called to the Ontario Bar in April of 2022. While at law school, Nicole was a mentor in the Women’s Legal Mentorship Program.

Osman has a broad litigation practice, with a focus on civil and commercial litigation. Osman has experience in real-estate property disputes, mortgage litigation, business and contractual disputes, and appeals at the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Cecilia Yang has a broad litigation practice and experience in employment litigation, commercial corporate litigation, construction liens and other construction disputes, contract disputes, and appeals. Originally from Alberta, Cecilia worked in oil and gas, non-profit, and construction, both in the field and in the office, before attending law school at Queen’s University.

Shahzad has been involved in some of the most important legal actions in Ontario, including the leading case on the law of deposit in Canada, Azzarello v. Shawqi, which has been cited over 50 times including by the Alberta Court of Appeal and also been profiled in the Toronto Star; Forest Hill Homes v. Ou, a precedent-setting case striking a high interest penalty clause, which has been cited with approval by the Ontario Court of Appeal; Aga v. Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, an Ontario case that went to the Supreme Court of Canada; and Treyes v. OLGC, involving a father, husband and Parkinson’s sufferer who lost his family and home and then fought the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

Ilya’s law practice is focused on civil litigation. Ilya represents individuals and corporations in civil cases and commercial disputes, including with respect to employment, disability, and personal injury. He has taken a number of matters to judgment. Ilya graduated from McGill University’s Faculty of Law in 2010, where he was awarded the I. Ballon Memorial Medal.

Vadim’s law practice is focused on civil litigation. Vadim has represented individuals and corporations in civil cases involving personal injury and various commercial disputes, CPP appeals, disability disputes with insurance companies, employment terminations, Class Actions and mass torts.
